Since the current era has been called the era of media, the impact of media and media organizations cannot be ignored. It is inevitable for media organizations to embark on long term planning in order to attract the maximum attention of their audience and to ensure the satisfaction of public opinion. However due to the fact the control is the other feature of the media, therefore strategic controls are also so important in this regard. Since the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting Organization has began drawing a long-term planning for its future activities therefore a controlling model is of a very crucial importance for it. This article is an attempt to offer a model to implement and evaluate its performance in this regard.
